Habitat: deserts at 500 to 4,000 feet

Flower Color: White with purple center

Flowering Season:Year round, especially Jan. to April

Height: Trails low along the ground

Description: The leaves of Carrizon Mountain sandmat are small, 1/8 to ¾ inch and have a milky sap. The flowers are five-petaled. Stems may run along the ground or stand up. Oval, oblong seeds distinguish it from other related species.
